Fitting service

Fitted properly, by people who have done it for decades

We offer an expert, professional fitting service for every type of flooring we supply. Once you have picked your new flooring we arrange a fitting date that suits you, and our own fitters take it from there.

Furniture moved

We move the big items out and back. You just clear the small things and breakables.

Old flooring removed

We uplift the old carpet or laminate and take it away, so there is nothing for you to dispose of.

Prepared and trimmed

Subfloors levelled where needed, doors trimmed to clear the new floor, thresholds fitted neatly.

Checked before we leave

We walk the job with you, hoover up and make sure you are happy before we go.

How to get ready for fitting day

A few small things make the day go smoothly. We will run through them with you when we book the date.
  1. 01

    Clear small items, ornaments, lamps and anything on top of furniture in the rooms being fitted.

  2. 02

    Empty low drawers and wardrobes if furniture needs moving. Beds can usually stay assembled.

  3. 03

    Let us know about underfloor heating, pipes under floorboards or previous damp so we can plan around them.

  4. 04

    Keep pets and little ones out of the room while the tools are out. We will tell you the moment it is safe.

  5. 05

    Once fitted, new carpet may shed a little fluff for a few weeks. It is normal and hoovers up.
